Apto Solutions is seeking a Warehouse PC Technician to join our on-site warehouse team in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on the disassembly and processing of incoming IT assets, ensuring components are properly sorted, evaluated, and routed based on condition and usability. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computer hardware, follows structured processes, and can quickly identify devices that require exception handling.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and internal components
  • Experience disassembling computers or electronics preferred
  • Ability to identify common hardware components and assess basic condition
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and lifting equipment as needed
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse, electronics recycling, or ITAD experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Systematic disassembly and reassembly of equipment using small hand tools and fine electronic tools (e.g., screwdrivers, precision tools) safely and effectively
  • Inspecting, cleaning, and labeling components for reuse, refurbishment, or scrap.
  • Remove and replace defective or non-functional components
  • Perform minor repairs to restore devices to working condition when possible
  • Documenting failures and maintaining inventory records.
  • Sort and separate components (e.g., hard drives, RAM, CPUs, power supplies) for reuse, recycling, or resale
  • Accurately update asset status and component details within Apto’s inventory management system
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in repair, teardown and processing areas
  • Collaborate with quality control and refurbishment teams to ensure proper asset flow
  • Adhere to safety standards and proper handling procedures for electronic equipment
