1st Shift Warehouse Order Preparation Specialist
About The Position
The 1st Shift Warehouse Order Preparation Specialist plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for shipment. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to transport pallets, which may need to be rearranged, wrapped, labeled, and staged in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Overtime when mandatory Pay: $20.00 hourly (bi-weekly) This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
- Forklift Certification required.
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
- Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities
- Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks
- Ability to use a hand scanner
- Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
- Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
- Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
- Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
- Transfers finished products to designated areas
- Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
- Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger
