About The Position

The 1st Shift Warehouse Order Preparation Specialist plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for shipment. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to transport pallets, which may need to be rearranged, wrapped, labeled, and staged in accordance with company standards and customer specifications. Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Overtime when mandatory Pay: $20.00 hourly (bi-weekly) Essential Job Functions Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment Loads and unloads trucks Ability to use a hand scanner Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations Transfers finished products to designated areas Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
