About The Position

A Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within a warehouse environment. This role involves operating machinery, managing inventory, ensuring workplace safety, and supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center (preferred).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and perform physical tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Forklift certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices and packing lists.
  • Storage & Organization: Store goods in designated locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy retrieval.
  • Order Picking and Shipping: Accurately pick products for shipment according to customer or internal orders and requirements from other departments.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct stock checks, update inventory records, and report discrepancies.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow workplace safety protocols, adhere to company policies, and comply with regulatory standards.
  • General Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
