Purpose: Plans, organizes, and manages the distribution warehouse operations under the guidance of the Sr. Operations Manager and Director of Operations. Assists with providing direction and management to warehouse team as needed. Position Summary: The Warehouse Operations Supervisor plays a key role in the management of warehouse operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes, workforce coordination, and alignment with safety and quality standards. This role supports the Warehouse Operations Manager in terms of driving efficiency, productivity, and team performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
3-5 years’ experience in Warehouse Distribution Center.
2-3+ years Supervisory experience
Minimum proficiency level in Excel, Word, and ERP systems.

Demonstrates leadership via a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to WDI Values.
An excellent communicator (written and verbal), and well organized.
OSHA certified Stand-up/Sit-down forklift Trainer
Ability to walk and stand – frequently
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Ability to sit, bend, reach, squat - occasionally

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, and shipping, to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Provide guidance, training, and support to all warehouse staff, ensuring team members are well-trained and motivated.
Act as a liaison between frontline staff and senior management, communicating operational goals and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Monitor daily performance metrics and ensure that all operations meet established KPIs for safety, productivity, and quality.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including OSHA standards, and support the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Prepare and maintain operational reports, documenting daily activities, challenges, and achievements for review by senior management.
Conduct quality checks of orders.
Participates in Company-wide continuous improvement programs and projects including, but not limited to equipment or system upgrades, operational changes for improved flexibility and efficiency, and inventory management projects.
Develops and executes annual personal development plan
Fosters a culture based on Safety, compliance, customer service and continuous improvement
Supports and performs additional initiatives or assignments at the discretion of the Director of Operations.
