Let’s take a closer look at the role Responsible for successful day-to-day management of safety, delivery, and inventory accuracy. Coordinates the flow within the facility to ensure customer delivery goals are met. The Warehouse Operations Site Leader must successfully adhere to the organization’s level of customer service based on corporate mission and values. Includes budgetary / financial responsibility for their assigned area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of successful warehouse or warehouse operations management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using WMS and/or inventory management systems .
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and production/inventory systems (APICS certification a plus).
  • Willingness to travel during the initial onboarding period to other locations for training and best-practice learning.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams .
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly team-oriented and effective working cross-functionally .
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data and process flows.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure in deadline-driven environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ISO, OSHA, and Six Sigma principles preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery performance, and inventory accuracy , ensuring alignment with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Provide overall leadership for onsite personnel, including employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and development planning .
  • Manage and optimize material flow, receiving accuracy, inventory transactions, cycle counting, and warehouse configurations to support operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Own and maintain the onsite customer relationship , partnering closely to ensure all warehouse-related requirements, delivery windows, and service levels are met.
  • Manage budgetary and financial responsibilities for the assigned area, including operating expenses, continuous improvement initiatives, and participation in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
