About The Position

Pitney Bowes is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our high‑volume Presort Services facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates. Your work schedule will be Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as it relates to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible for a 30% annual field bonus. As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year. You must have over 3 years of Supervisory experience in an Operating Center averaging 20 million or more MAIL pieces per week with a 24-hour operating cycle in order to be considered for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership in a high‑volume production or distribution environment.
  • Mandatory experience in the mailing industry, including USPS regulations and mail processing workflows.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an operating center processing over 20 million mail pieces weekly with a 24‑hour operating cycle.
  • A proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and build strong leadership pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
  • Experience preparing reports and presenting to managers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and commitment to a safe work environment.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and performance‑management skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts when needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform extended periods of walking, standing, or sitting.

Responsibilities

  • Production Planning & Workflow Optimization Organize and schedule production runs by evaluating mail types, volume forecasts, and staffing requirements to ensure timely, accurate processing.
  • Leadership Across All Shifts Develop, coach, and evaluate a diverse leadership team across multiple departments and operating shifts.
  • Operational Performance & KPIs Achieve and exceed productivity, quality, and service metrics while maintaining a safe, efficient operating environment.
  • Staffing Strategy & Forecasting Plan labor needs based on client projections, historical trends, and operational goals.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance Oversee quality from mail receipt through USPS presentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to postal regulations.
  • Regulatory & Reporting Accountability Ensure timely completion of USPS and internal reports, job costing, and compliance documentation.
  • Cross‑Department Coordination Align operations across quality control, metering, hand sort, automation, and transportation to maximize throughput.
  • Client & Sales Partnership Support the General Manager on client visits and sales calls, providing operational expertise and building customer confidence.
  • Budgeting & Financial Insight Assist with budgeting, analyze operational reports, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
  • Enterprise Collaboration Work closely with cross‑functional teams across Pitney Bowes to drive continuous improvement and operational success.
