About The Position

The Warehouse Manager directs, coordinates and plans the storage and distribution of the products and materials of the company. The W arehouse Manager is accountable for all the activities of the warehouse staff receiving, storing of products and ensuring the quality of the goods.

Requirements

  • Excellent managerial and organizational skills and abilities.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with effective team building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics
  • 5 -7 years of experience with increasing a track record of responsibility, authority and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to manage in a team-based environment
  • Proven ability to motivate employees to a high level of performance
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, and Power-Point
  • Business computer skills - Working knowledge of Warehouse Management systems, Solar Eclipse preferred and RF Scanner

Responsibilities

  • Planning, Organizing and Controlling of Warehouse' over-all operations
  • Organize all activities & assign jobs accordingly for staff.
  • Setup layout & space management, work organization chart and procedures
  • Manage stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system
  • Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets
  • Make plans to develop staffs of warehouse by internal/on-job training.
  • Follow up & control daily absence and over time.
  • Ensure that workplace's health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility, including security of the building and inventory
  • Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
  • Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report.
  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
  • Audit of daily labor and billing reports.
  • Improvement & development of warehouse
  • Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration.
  • Enhance subordinates' well being and capability through training and give opportunities for promotion and development
  • Continually research to improve all warehouse operations according to company's objectives
  • Staff with safety and efficiency as priorities
