The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and execution of warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product throughout the facility. This role provides direct oversight of all core warehouse functions including receiving, replenishment (beer down), order selecting, re-pack, loading, inventory-related processes, and general warehouse execution. The Warehouse Manager is accountable for department performance, labor utilization, safety compliance, process execution, team development, and service support. This role is expected to lead through supervisors and frontline leadership while maintaining a strong floor presence and ensuring consistent execution across all shifts. A critical responsibility of this role is to reinforce Team Cone’s culture by leading through the company’s core values and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and operational discipline across all warehouse functions. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring all team members perform their work in accordance with company policy, safe work practices, appropriate material handling techniques, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for evaluating, investigating, and managing warehouse-related security and property protection programs, while maintaining strong focus on cost control through expense reduction, operational efficiency, and increased throughput. The manager maintains full ownership of warehouse operations and daily execution across all functional areas, ensuring activities are aligned with company expectations for service, safety, productivity, quality, and accuracy. They establish and maintain operational structure, accountability, and consistency within the department, driving execution to support customer service requirements and overall company performance. The manager identifies workflow inefficiencies, operational gaps, process breakdowns, and safety concerns, implementing corrective action when needed, and partners with other departments to ensure alignment with broader business needs. They maintain visibility and accountability for daily warehouse conditions, organization, staffing coverage, and operational readiness, reinforcing core values through daily leadership and decision-making. The manager also owns department safety performance, promoting a culture where safe work practices are consistently followed and reinforced, and supports warehouse-related security and property protection, investigating incidents as needed. A strong focus is maintained on cost control by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase throughput.
