This role is responsible for overseeing inventory, supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years of warehouse management experience
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50+ lbs.
  • Frequent standing and walking (up to 8 hours per day).
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach as needed.
  • Exposure to industrial noise, recyclable materials, and varying temperatures.
  • Work may include exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, rain, snow, cold).
  • Required use of PPE including eye, ear, head, toe protection, high-visibility vest, gloves, and safety harness as required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
  • Monitor and support scheduling of inbound and outbound loads.
  • Coordinate railcar placement and daily material loading to support balanced production.
  • Maintain docks, bay doors, forklifts, and related equipment in safe working condition.
  • Update and maintain work instructions in partnership with Logistics leadership.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine and monthly inventory counts.
  • Implement inventory management practices to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving, and material tracking documentation using SAP and Excel.
  • Supervise warehouse team members including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused culture.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure operational success.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
