About The Position

Catholic Charities of Acadiana (CCA) is seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our central warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring our programs have the tools, equipment, and materials they need to serve the community effectively. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated by supporting mission-driven work. This position plays a key behind-the-scenes role in helping CCA deliver services with efficiency, accountability, and care. Requirements

  • Previous experience managing inventory, warehouse operations, or logistics required
  • Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, or similar vehicles preferred
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable handling varied responsibilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the check-in/check-out process for equipment and materials
  • Take ownership of the inventory system, including developing and improving inventory processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with established procedures
  • Track inventory levels and conduct regular (weekly) inventory audits and verification
  • Receive, store, organize, label, and distribute inventory for CCA programs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
  • Operate forklifts, box trucks, and other vehicles as needed to support programs
  • Oversee routine maintenance and general upkeep of warehouse tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly stored and ready for use
  • Provide logistical, vehicle, and physical support to other programs as needed
  • Work closely with program staff to meet logistical and inventory needs
  • Support a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities as organizational needs evolve
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment aligned with organizational standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
