About The Position

The Warehouse Manager will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost through meaningful engagements with warehouse leaders and associates, best-in-class service to customers, and safe and profitable operations. The Warehouse Manager oversees the operations of receiving and storing of all inventories, along with shipping customer orders. He or she continually looks for opportunities to improve employee welfare while striving for the safest and most efficient processes. The Warehouse Manager works with Production to ensure materials are supplied in the right quantities, to the right place, at the right time. As a warehousing subject matter expert, they will identify strategic and tactical opportunities to improve, as well as coordinate and prioritize the rollout of improvement projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in warehouse leadership or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience with DOT regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering results.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel are required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Able to wear applicable PPE including hard hat.
  • Due to safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited.
  • Must be able to work in an un-cooled warehouse facility where temperatures may reach 100 Fahrenheit.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Warehouse Management System deployment.
  • Self-motivated and can initiate continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse personnel at Oshkosh Plant and Oshkosh Warehouse (<1 mile apart).
  • Lead employee performance and development through regular interaction, coaching, and periodic evaluations.
  • Lead all Hydrite Safety program initiatives and deliver measurable safety improvements in the warehouse operation.
  • Responsible for leading and driving the Hydrite Safety Vision, Mission, and Values as outlined in standard operating procedure SF063AF.
  • Lead all Hydrite Quality program initiatives and drive/deliver measurable safety improvements in the warehouse operation.
  • Assure compliance with all regulations as dictated by FDA, DOT, EPA, DNR, OSHA and other government agencies.
  • Manage all material logistics, ensure cycle count of raw materials, receive and ship hazardous waste.
  • Manage the raw material and product transfers between OS and OW.
  • Manage all resources as it relates to Warehouse operations.
  • Personnel, Department Expenses, Capital Expenses and projects, etc.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) culture as the CI Project Leader / Manager for all warehouse CI projects.
  • Warehouse Management System, Efficiency, Capacity, etc.
  • Establish strong communication channels within local operations and between operational sites and corporate functions.
  • Safety/Regulatory, Operations, Human Resources, Sales, Customer Service, Transportation, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, warehouse operations, and quality.
