The Kane County Cougars are looking for a Seasonal Warehouse Manager to join our team! The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the concessions warehouse at Northwestern Medicine Field. This position oversees inventory management, deliveries, and distribution of food and beverage supplies to all concession stands and portable units throughout the stadium. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions to include heat, cold and rain.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or lift weight greater than 50 lbs.
  • Required to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience (preferably in food & beverage or sports/event industry).
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack or forklift (certification is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, count, and organize deliveries.
  • Track inventory levels using a digital inventory system.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly inventory audits.
  • Coordinate timely restocking of all concession stands before and during games/events.
  • Create and maintain daily prep and distribution lists based on event needs.
  • Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure staff adhere to safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and Stand Managers to forecast demand and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors and delivery personnel.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverages according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
