About The Position

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for loading, unloading and moving shipments throughout the production areas. This role also is responsible for the recording, tracking and maintaining inventory, shortages, overages and damaged orders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiar with data entry and computer usage.
  • Able to pass on site written and driving forklift test.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and preemployment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing material.
  • Inspect and verify incoming material to the packing slip and the Bill of Lading.
  • Coordinate third party carriers and small packages for shipping/receiving.
  • Move material to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and. manufacturing areas.
  • Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move freight.
  • Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders and/or as requested by the Production Supervisors.
  • Assist with locating missing packages and fixing incorrect deliveries
  • Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
  • Use an ERP system (business central)
  • Use and understand Microsoft office
  • Remove packaging/trash from production and material areas.
  • Enter receipts against purchase orders and update inventory records in our warehouse management system.
  • Generate inventory, shipping, and receiving reports as required.
  • Assign bin location to parts and ensure physical location matches Business Central
  • Perform receiving inspections per company policy
  • Note damages, take and upload pictures, and follow company policy for inbound, damaged freight
  • Run weekly report to track parts that were shorted during the kitting process
  • Keep a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.
  • Look up part locations.
  • Print part labels.
  • Use a scanner to transfer parts between locations.
  • Update and use reports.
  • Perform cycle counts and enter data in Business Central.
  • Other duties as assigned.
