About The Position

The Warehouse & Fleet & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for leading the efforts of all supply chain-related tasks for the Rancho Cucamonga warehouse. They will coordinate and support all departments as needed, while effectively managing inventory and leading the team. The role will assist the Senior Manager of Fleet and Facilities by overseeing facility operations at our Rancho Cucamonga office and fleet operations in the broader Southern California area. The position will provide essential support to the Service and Construction teams by ensuring that all vehicles and trailers are in excellent operating condition. Ensures that the Rancho office and warehouse space meet the needs of our employees and comply with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must have a valid driver license, minimum 5 years safe driving experience, and a very clean CA DMV driver record – no reckless driving charges, no DUI, and minimum speeding infractions.
  • Ability and experience to safely drive and back up large vehicles (not tractor-trailer vehicles) with or without trailers.
  • Minimum of 5-Years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Minimum of 1-Year of work experience and certified for safely driving a forklift to off-load equipment from truck flatbeds and trailers and to move pallets and equipment within a warehouse.
  • Minimum of 1-Year of work experience managing a team.
  • Minimum of 3 years or work experience in a fleet or facilities capacity strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance.
  • Proactive and analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a way that is thorough yet efficient.
  • Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and efficient completion of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stock keeping, inventory cycle counting, picking, job staging, and general warehouse facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Responsible for the leadership and safety of all warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure all team members are well-trained and consistently follow all warehouse and inventory control Jonas processes and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Jonas processes that impact or are impacted by the Warehouse and Inventory Control Team, including procurement, job costing, work orders, over-the-counter sales, and accounts payable.
  • Ensure that all materials are stored properly and protected.
  • Coordinate and requisition materials for warehouse inventory needs.
  • Oversee correct transfer procedures to all trucks, jobs, and other warehouses.
  • Manage processes to track defective and warranty parts from all sources and their return and replacement from manufacturers/suppliers.
  • Manage the tracking and organization for all electronic cores and other rebuild-able materials.
  • Oversee proper posting of invoices from counter sales and assist in Over-the-Counter sales as necessary.
  • Take the lead in preparation and execution of physical inventory counts.
  • Coordinate and review the service vehicle quarterly inventories.
  • Coordinate need for materials with the purchasing department to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials for jobs.
  • Ensure materials received for jobs are job-costed immediately.
  • Manage freight claims.
  • Oversee appearance and safety of yard, materials stored outside, and the warehouse facility.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and report scraps and receipts to the Operations Director.
  • Focused on customer service with a passion for quality.
  • Utilize purchasing and inventory control systems.
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Fleet & Facilities with managing all aspects of keeping all company Class 2 through 5 vehicles and small trailers on the road.
  • Oversee the coordination of and monitor activities related to maintenance, cleaning, and security for the Rancho Cucamonga facility.
  • Ensure rapid response to emergency situations or disruptions of services 24/7.
  • As directed by the Senior Manager, procure and store supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations.
  • Assist with space planning and office moves, including managing renovations and building projects.
