About The Position

Palmer Logistics is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Dispatcher to join their growing company at the Spikewood location. This is a direct-hire role offering stability and growth potential. Palmer Logistics is a 3PL company that handles commodities such as hazardous chemicals, non-hazardous chemicals, food grade, and other general commodities. They provide specialized services including customized reporting, labeling, repackaging, and other services to their customers. Requirements

At least 2-3 years of Shipping/Receiving experience
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong data entry skills; accuracy - Clerical skills
Professional Communication skills; verbal and written
Attention to detail, organization
Reliable Transportation
Willingness to learn Palmer procedures
High school diploma or GED
Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

Nice To Haves

Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems, Synapse a plus
Bilingual - Spanish - with ability to speak and write English preferred

Responsibilities

Check in drivers
Monitor daily emails
Schedule appointments
Keeping up with daily log/and daily schedule
Following up with carriers on late or missed pick-ups
Schedule inbound loads and outbound loads
Document and report scheduling issues by account
Monitor and report accuracy on ISO conformances pertaining to receiving/shipping activities
