About The Position

Join the dynamic operations team at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, as a Warehouse Attendant. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations to support the various needs of the stadium. Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas. Places materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Fills requisitions requests Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates and other containers. Records number of materials or items received or distributed. Use computer to enter records. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments. Maintains inventory records. Use proper lifting techniques Thoroughly and accurately uses Levy purchasing and other systems Thoroughly completes all warehouse set-up and breakdown responsibilities Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively.
  • Strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications; Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen/warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed.
  • Environmental exposure includes dust, chemicals, allergens, outdoor weather elements, HVAC, and potential electrical hazards associated with stadium environment.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting, climbing, and operating machinery.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as grasping, lifting, or reaching, during stocking and order fulfillment
  • Ability to operate material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, dollies) safely and effectively.
