About The Position

Join the excitement of game days and events at the iconic Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks! We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to become part of our Concessions team and help deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests.

Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • This position may require the following valid certifications; Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment, especially when using grills or fryers.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and ascending/descending stairs, as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping vegetables, prepping proteins, and measuring spices.
  • Assist in cooking hot and cold foods according to Core signatures and recipes.
  • Prepare items on production sheets following quantities, recipes, and portion control.
  • Complete daily production worksheets, ensuring accurate waste logs and inventory.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens and other general appliances, ensuring adherence to proper handling and safety procedures.
  • Ensure food items are properly stored, labeled, and dated according to standards, following food safety guidelines.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Completes prep duties, including washing dishes, taking inventory, and restocking supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment.
  • Follow established safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage.
  • Work with kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
  • All other duties as assigned
