About The Position

Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our tight-knit team in Grapevine, TX! In this role, you will be responsible for picking, receiving, operating spooling machine, and assisting with other departments when needed. Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F with an hour for lunch Pay Rate: $19.00/hr + full benefits Location: 1051 Mustang Drive, Suite 300, Grapevine, TX

Requirements

Warehouse experience required
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Comfort doing basic math and reading measurements
Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus
Previous computer experience preferred
Willingness to learn and cross train

Responsibilities

Accurately pick inventory using forklifts, cherry picker, and RF scanners
Utilize hand-held scan gun and computer systems to track, relocate, count, and manage inventory
Set up and operate wire cutting & spooling machine to cut/spool wire
Assist with shipping & receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials
Perform quality control checks
Assist with additional duties as needed
