Warehouse Associate - 8AM-5PM - Grapevine, TX
About The Position
Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our tight-knit team in Grapevine, TX! In this role, you will be responsible for picking and pulling orders, inventory control, operating spooling machines and assisting with other general warehouse duties as needed . If you are looking for a full time , direct-hire position to get your foot in the door and gain hands on experience with an industry leader in wire, cable, and industrial automation, then AWC may be just the right fit for you! Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F with an hour for lunch Pay Rate: $20/hr + full benefits Location: 1051 Mustang Drive, Suite 300, Grapevine, TX
Requirements
- Warehouse experience required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Pick and pull orders using forklifts, cherry picker, and RF scanners
- Operate hand-held scan gun and computers to log inventory
- Daily set-up and operation of wire cutting & spooling machine, ensuring machine runs smoothly
- Organize, relocate, and perform quality control on inventory
- Assist with additional duties as needed
