About The Position

Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Collaborates with members of other disciplines. Observes patient behavior for changes in order to intervene therapeutically, guide non-professional nursing staff, communicate changes to appropriate staff, and record changes. Assists with the staffing process for nursing issues. Assists with reviewing all the staffing schedule and informing managers of potential overtime issues then assists managers in making necessary changes as directed by the Registered Nurse. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
Current status as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Alabama.
Current CPR Certification required.
Must have a successfull background, drug screening, and ABI/FBI fingerprints.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year psychiatric experience preferred, but not required.
