The Warehouse Associate, under the direction of the Warehouse Lead, is responsible for picking and staging materials for production, recording inventory movement transactions using bar code scanners, maintaining computerized inventory control, and confirming inventory levels and accuracy through cycle counts.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma.
Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
At least 6 months experience operating a forklift or reach truck.
Possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word and Outlook.
Ability to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Must pass background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately pull parts from pick tickets and stages materials for production.
Accurately maintain computerized inventory control records over product movement from one location to another.
Safely operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers, Forklifts etc).
Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed.
Communicate issues regarding part discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead.
Actively participate as a member of the team to move the team toward completion of goals.
Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as may be directed by the Warehouse Lead.
Operates/Drives box truck for parts transport and pickup (Will require MVR-Motor Vehicle Record check, DOT Physical, and Defensive Driver Class).
Performs additional duties as assigned.
