About The Position

Employees perform all functions assigned by the warehouse supervisor and/or manager, including but not limited to, receiving, returns, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, loading and unloading trucks, and shipping. The role involves performing receiving, stocking, selection, pallet consolidation, unloading and loading as scheduled, including finished product coming from production. The associate will perform selection utilizing pick tickets, building pallets of product, wrapping them from top to bottom, and staging them in the proper shipping lanes. They must operate any equipment they are trained and certified to use in a safe and efficient manner, which may include box cutters, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or other heavy machinery. Experience with storage bays, racking systems, following inventory control, and FIFO procedures is required. Accurate data entries in the NetSuite WMS System and maintaining the warehouse in good condition are essential. The position requires compliance with all applicable health and safety codes, and the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments. Regular and reliable attendance is expected, and other duties not listed may be assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years forklift operating experience.
  • Minimum of a High School diploma.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in dealing with staff, coworkers, and supervision as well as directly with buyers/customers.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft product i.e.: Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt well to change direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiar with the process of moving goods packed on pallets or in bins amongst the facilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as a team mentality.
  • Must be agile and quick to respond to changes and the needs of team members and/or the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
