About The Position

This role seeks detailed-orientated individuals with a passion for customer service and industry specific knowledge join our team as a Warehouse Associate in our Parts Department who will have delivery driver responsibilities. The ideal candidates will assist in various warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as fulfilling delivery responsibilities for parts and materials to our customers and team members. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Associate will be required to adhere to all health and safety requirements. In this role, the Warehouse Associate (Parts) would provide HVAC parts related service and support to customers and team members both in person and over the phone. The Associate is also responsible for parts identification, order management, inventory selection and pricing, and receiving and stocking inventory.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of applicable experience required
  • Ability to manage an inventory of current stock, identify the purpose of each part, and coordinate large scale part returns.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to process high volumes of work with great accuracy.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to maintain coverage under our company's auto insurance policy.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing (training will be provided.)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rotating basis to service the needs of our technical crews and customers.

  • Must be able to do frequent lifting of 10-65 lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally grasp, kneel and pull.
  • Must be able to frequently sit and stand.

  • HVAC Parts knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of all sales and customer transactions and ensure compliance to company guidelines.
  • Manage and process all purchase orders using order management system to obtain required parts from vendors.
  • Administer and maintain records of all special orders, track all warranty parts returned and update order inventory management systems. Manage and process all invoices to include complete reconciliation of all merchandise received against invoice.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to accurately identify and recommend appropriate parts for customers.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
  • Coordinate with technicians and other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by promoting and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Field customer questions and handle any issues that arise.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with precision and care.
  • Deliver parts and materials to customers in a timely manner, following established routes and schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including handling inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating company vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Stay current and knowledgeable on all parts and products.
  • Other duties as assigned.
