About The Position

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with immediate opening in our Portland, ME location. This person will be expected to perform various warehouse tasks and as needed deliver parts. This is an opportunity to grow professionally with the leader in the transportation industry. The individual in the position must be willing to learn the truck trailer trade and accept additional responsibilities to develop and advance within our organization. Requirements

Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and multi-task.
Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Receive daily shipments and account for all items.
Prepare orders for shipping.
Pull and load orders for deliveries.
Place stock on shelves, bins, and pallet racks.
Pull overstock down and reload parts bins.
Load parts in customer’s vehicles.
Assist with parts counter customers and sales agents.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Develop product knowledge through involvement in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
Adherence to company safety program.
All other duties as assigned.
