Parts Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Our warehouse associates perform the following tasks: Loads and unloads merchandise from trailers Lifts cartons and other items frequently Selects and picks product for shipment and will call Matches goods received with purchase orders Occasionally run Parts to customers. Ensures accuracy of all goods handled through record verification matching inventory to order numbers May operate power equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks Prepare merchandise for shipping using shrink wrap and banding tools Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers and management in a cooperative, supportive and courteous manner; displays a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, orderly and professional work area. Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Minimum 18 -years-old
- Active Drivers License
- Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work all overtime hours
- Must be able to stand and walk 8 or more hours per day
- Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the job
- Will lift from 1-75 pounds from floor to five feet level and team lift heavier items
- Normal physical agility is a must
