Warehouse Associate - Cut & Strip Team - 2nd Shift
About The Position
We're looking for reliable individuals with a good work ethic to join the Allied Wire & Cable warehouse operations team as a full time, direct-hire Cut & Strip Associate at our Collegeville, PA facility! As a Cut & Strip Associate, you will be responsible for operating machines to cut and strip wire/cable, performing quality control and inspections, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your contributions matter!
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Attention to detail and ability to handle small wires and components
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
- Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit
Responsibilities
- Review order tickets and set up machines using iPads according to ticket specifications
- Operate multiple machines to cut pieces of cable per order instructions
- Conduct inspections of product using rules, calipers, and micrometers
- Use computers to complete paperwork
- Cut samples of wire to check for damages and send to customers
- Operate pallet jacks to relocate inventory
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
