About The Position

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant (Secret cleared) to join our federal team at our Huntsville, AL location. This role supports mission-critical operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and assets are accurately tracked, properly handled, and ready to support our Federal programs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related role
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems, or similar)
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Active Secret clearance is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a DoD, federal, or government contracting environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or asset tracking tools
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Experience with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight coordination, etc.)
  • Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Support inventory controlprocesses including physical counts, record maintenance, asset tagging, and discrepancy resolution
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments while coordinating with carriers
  • Perform basic equipment testingand document operational results
  • Process equipment for disposal in accordance with company and federal guidelines
  • Maintain accurate asset and inventory records within tracking systems
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized, with proper storage and labeling of materials
  • Follow all safety procedures and compliance standards in a federal environment
