About The Position

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for managing sales, compliance, research, and/or communication functions. In this role, you will manage sales and/or retention efforts for all products. For this highly visible senior leadership position, we are seeking an influential sales leader and strategist with the ability to motivate a sales team. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Sales position will be results driven, and have self-funded insurance experience, world-class presentation skills, and exceptional product knowledge, to include Pharmacy benefits. Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday working on-site at our 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC location. Travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ Years of experience in aggressive sales and management.
  • Management experience can be equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
  • Typical office environment.
  • Travel is required to support company revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing division’s sales function.
  • Responsible for achieving sales and/or retention goals for division across all product lines.
  • Development and management of distribution channels including direct, independent agent and consultant sales channels.
  • Responsible for maintaining superior service and responsiveness to existing key accounts/distribution channel.
  • Responsible for budgeting, planning and staffing for sales department.
  • Responsible for sales training to keep staff current on continuing education requirements as well as sales presentation skills.
