Reporting directly to the VP/GM Safety Identification, the Vice President of Safety Identification Sales is a key member of the Sales Leadership Team. He/she is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development for our safety identification (SID) products. He/she will be responsible for leading and directing teams of outside sellers, inside sellers, manufactures representatives, as well as order management and customer service teams. A successful candidate will have a history of demonstrated strength in strategic planning, large team leadership, sales process deployment, leveraging technology and process improvement. The Vice President of Safety Identification Sales provides overall direction and guidance to the activities of the sales organization and leads all SID sales functions. This will include building and managing a growing sales team; designing and implementing profitable programs; designing and optimizing sales process workflows; designing and implementing programs to optimize customer service efficiencies; and drive profitable growth. The Vice President of Safety Identification Sales will demonstrate superior leadership skills, work well with a team, work with all levels of management, and have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. The VP of Sales must have superior decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, and conflict-management abilities. He/she must have a have deep experience in industrial distribution and be able to design programs that will drive success through distribution.
