The Opportunity: The Vice President, Revenue Cycle provides executive leadership for enterprise‑wide front‑end professional billing workflows, including patient access, registration, eligibility, authorizations, financial clearance, and point‑of-service collections. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence while building, developing, and scaling high‑performing leaders who embody our core values. The VP partners closely with executive clients, internal delivery teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and patient‑centered front‑end revenue cycle performance across a complex, multi‑site enterprise environment. Success in this role is defined not only by results, but by how leaders are grown, teams are engaged, and standards are sustained over time. Enterprise PB Front‑End Leadership Provide executive oversight of professional billing front‑end enterprise workflows, ensuring standardization, scalability, and sustained performance across markets and clients. Lead strategy and execution for PB front‑end functions, including: Patient access and scheduling support Registration and demographic accuracy Eligibility verification and benefits discovery Authorization and referral management Financial clearance and point‑of-service collections Establish performance expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability models aligned to best practices and enterprise goals. Balance operational efficiency with a patient‑centric experience and regulatory compliance. Talent & Leadership Development (Primary Focus) Recruit, develop, and retain strong PB front‑end leaders, including directors, managers, and emerging leaders. Create a leadership culture rooted in accountability, trust, feedback, and continuous improvement. Coach leaders to make sound decisions, manage change effectively, and lead with emotional intelligence. Build leadership depth through succession planning, readiness assessments, and intentional development plans. Values‑Based Leadership & Culture Model and reinforce organizational core values and expected leadership behaviors in all decisions and interactions. Foster an environment where teams feel empowered to speak up, challenge processes, and drive improvement responsibly. Ensure PB front‑end operations align with corporate responsibility standards, compliance requirements, and ethical business practices. Lead with integrity, transparency, and consistency across all internal and client‑facing engagements. Executive Partnership & Growth Enablement Serve as a trusted advisor to internal executives and client leadership on PB front‑end revenue cycle strategy. Partner with delivery, technology, and operational excellence teams to support enterprise growth, expansions, and transformations. Contribute operational expertise to new client engagements, implementations, and performance turnarounds. Translate enterprise strategy into clear operational priorities for front‑end PB teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Professional Billing revenue cycle operations, with deep expertise in front‑end workflows.
  • Proven experience leading large, distributed PB teams in complex or enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing leaders and building scalable leadership structures.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, partner, and lead through change.
  • Commitment to values‑based leadership, compliance, and ethical decision‑making.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior VP‑ or AVP‑level experience in PB revenue cycle operations, consulting, or managed services.
  • Experience supporting multi‑specialty or multi‑site physician enterprises.
  • Background in enterprise standardization, operational transformation, and performance optimization.
