Axonify is entering its next phase of growth—evolving from a best-in-class frontline enablement platform into a category-defining system for customer-facing operational performance. We are looking for a VP, Product Marketing to help lead this transformation. As a senior, strategic product marketer, you understand where the market is going before it gets there and can translate product innovation into clear, differentiated commercial value. This role will align Product, Sales, Customer, and Marketing around a single, compelling growth narrative, accelerate revenue through sharper positioning, packaging, and go-to-market execution and be a trusted thought partner to the executive team. This leader owns market truth, category clarity, and growth acceleration.

Requirements

  • 12+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, including senior leadership experience.
  • Proven experience commercializing complex platforms in enterprise and/or mid-market environments.
  • Deep understanding of markets, buyers, and revenue mechanics.
  • Proven expertise in pricing and packaging strategy, win/loss analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Strong point of view on PLG vs. sales-led growth—and when each actually works.
  • Comfortable operating at both board-level altitude and field-level detail.
  • Able to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, and make hard tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high credibility with Product, Sales, Customer, and Executive leadership.
  • Experience launching new products or features in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments — ideally in AI or emerging tech.
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller — skilled at aligning teams around a shared vision and translating complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Proficient in GTM and marketing tech stacks, including CRM, enablement, analytics, and CI/MI tools (e.g., Salesforce, TruVoice).

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep, evidence-backed understanding of Axonify’s core markets, adjacent opportunities, and future expansion vectors.
  • Define and evolve Axonify’s category position—including how we win vs. LMSs, frontline operations tools, and emerging AI platforms.
  • Own ICP clarity, segmentation strategy, and vertical prioritization in partnership with Sales and Product.
  • Serve as the internal authority on buyers, economic drivers, competitive dynamics, and why customers choose (or don’t choose) Axonify.
  • Establish a continuous market and competitive intelligence engine (including win/loss), translating insights into executive-level recommendations for product strategy, pricing, and GTM priorities.
  • Own the company’s end-to-end product narrative—from platform vision to product launches to field-level talk tracks.
  • Translate product capabilities into business outcomes tied to revenue, productivity, risk reduction, and customer experience.
  • Ensure every product, feature, and innovation ladders to a clear “why it matters” for each buying persona, especially economic buyers.
  • Continuously sharpen Axonify’s differentiation to reduce price pressure, shorten sales cycles, and create urgency across new and expansion deals.
  • Ensure narrative consistency across product lines, channels, and customer touchpoints—one story, not many interpretations.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new products, major launches, and expansion plays—from market validation through launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue teams to materially improve win rates, deal size, competitive performance, and cross-sell adoption.
  • Own pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product, Sales, and Finance—ensuring value delivered is clearly reflected in value captured.
  • Test, refine, and communicate pricing strategies that balance innovation, market fit, and revenue scalability across a growing AI-driven portfolio.
  • Help drive PLG motions where appropriate—without compromising enterprise sales execution or economic buyer rigor.
  • Ensure Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing are telling one coherent story—not three versions of the truth.
  • Build enablement that helps sellers win economic buyers, not just demos or feature comparisons.
  • Arm Customer teams with narratives, proof points, and value frameworks that unlock expansion, renewal confidence, and executive sponsorship.
  • Act as connective tissue across functions—resolving ambiguity, setting direction, and simplifying complexity.
  • Be a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on growth, positioning, category strategy, and commercialization tradeoffs.
  • Bring clarity and conviction into executive discussions—grounded in data, customer insight, and commercial reality.
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing Product Marketing team focused on outcomes, not outputs.
  • Establish operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and accountability across PMM workstreams to support speed without chaos—especially in an AI-paced roadmap.
