Requirements

  • 4 + years of experience as VP of Information Technology, CIO, or similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of the modern tech stack of cloud/SaaS applications
  • In-depth hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of IT systems
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, integrations, and business intelligence systems
  • Understanding of IoT or connected device ecosystems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and business operations
  • Analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience overseeing IT support operations, including helpdesk, hardware deployment, and access management
  • Outstanding communication with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong ability to match technical solutions with customer business requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic design and long-term architecture of our information systems, software applications, ERP platform, and IT infrastructure, and direct mission-critical initiatives to ensure company-wide performance, stability, and scalability
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies, particularly AI and IoT, by collaborating cross-departmentally on innovative, connected product concepts that drive business advancement
  • Establish and govern data architecture, integration standards, and business intelligence (BI) systems to ensure accurate, reliable data for decision-making across the organization
  • Oversee and ensure continuous advancement of risk management, data security, and disaster recovery planning, conducting regular audits and updates
  • Oversee timelines, priorities, and budgets for major IT initiatives, acting as the primary decision maker and communication hub to align internal teams and external vendors
  • Lead IT governance, organizational structure, and team development, ensuring the right roles, skills, and growth pathways are in place to support business strategy
  • Negotiate and manage technology vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery
  • Build a culture of service excellence, ensuring a high level of technology-driven customer experience throughout the organization
