About The Position

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for overseeing the sales department and driving revenue generation through various sales strategies and initiatives. The VP of Sales plays a critical role in developing and executing sales plans, managing sales teams, and collaborating with other departments to achieve Master’s sales targets and overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of direct experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize sales performance.
  • Recruiting, training, and leading the sales team, providing coaching and guidance to sales representatives, and ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Monitoring sales metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Creating sales forecasts and budgets to help guide the sales team and align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Continuously evaluating and refining the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts.
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance and related initiatives.
  • Setting ambitious but achievable sales targets and motivating the sales team to reach and exceed those targets.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
