About The Position

Guidepoint is seeking a CPO/VP of Product to lead the strategy and execution of a core product area focused on complex data systems and analytics-driven solutions. This role will sit at the intersection of product leadership, data strategy, and business impact, owning the vision, roadmap, and delivery of scalable data products that support both internal teams and external clients. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, this role requires a hands-on product leader who can balance long-term strategy with near-term execution, partner deeply across functions, and translate complex requirements into high-impact, customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in product management or product leadership roles, ideally within data-intensive, enterprise, or analytics-driven environments.
  • Strong understanding of complex data systems, including data modeling, data pipelines, and data quality management.
  • Experience translating customer and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and successful product launches.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to guide prioritization, experimentation, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and long-term strategy for a critical data-driven platform, aligning closely with Guidepoint’s business objectives and client needs.
  • Develop and manage a clear, prioritized product roadmap that balances innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business value.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Analytics, Research, and Commercial teams to gather requirements, align priorities, and deliver high-quality product outcomes.
  • Lead efforts around data modeling, data quality, and lifecycle management to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability across complex datasets.
  • Drive governance, compliance, and best practices related to data access, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Use analytics, customer feedback, and market insights to inform decisions, evaluate performance, and iterate on product features.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, and impact clearly to senior stakeholders, building alignment and momentum across the organization.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to product delivery, data integrity, and platform scalability.
  • Foster a strong product culture centered on ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
