About The Position

Ford Motor Credit Company (FMCC) is the Financial Services arm of Ford Motor Company and is headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan. Ford Credit Europe (FCE) is part of the Ford Motor Credit Company and headquartered in Dunton, UK. Ford Credit's business consists of financing Ford and Lincoln vehicles and services for Ford and Lincoln dealers, commercial customers and consumer/retail customers. Its business activities are concentrated in financing and leasing of automobile and software services. Ford Credit competes based on service and financing rate programs, including those sponsored by Ford. A key foundation of its service is providing broad and consistent purchasing policies for retail installment sale and lease contracts, and consistent support for dealer financing requirements across economic cycles. These policies have helped Ford Credit build strong relationships with Ford's dealer network that enhance competitiveness. Ford Credit also provides commercial financing and lines of credit to dealerships selling Ford Motor Company products. Ford Credit also owns Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, the arm that finances Lincoln vehicles. The Opportunity: Ford Credit is looking for a VP of Product Management, Commercial to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our commercial lending and software-enabled financial products. This area is branded FinSimple and is pivotal in supporting Ford Pro—Ford’s dedicated commercial vehicle and service business. You will drive the development of innovative financing solutions for small-to-medium businesses, large and extra-large fleets, and government entities, integrating traditional financing with software services, charging infrastructure, and telematics to deliver a comprehensive commercial ecosystem. This role is also responsible for the dealer advisor online experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education
  • 12+ years of Product Management experience
  • 6+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and leaders
  • Experience engaging at an executive level internally with cross-functional groups
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
  • Experience working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas

Nice To Haves

  • Proven leader in Commercial/B2B product management, specifically within the Ford Pro FinSimple or similar commercial fleet ecosystem.
  • Specific experience delivering consolidated billing ecosystems, complex commercial leasing products, or large-scale digital platform consolidations.
  • Extensive experience implementing and scaling AI solutions that enhance customer and agent experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across multiple disparate business units (e.g., Sales, IT, Finance, Operations).
  • Holds a Master’s, MBA, PhD, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Commercial Strategy: Define the product roadmap for multiple quarters and beyond, ensuring a seamless integration of FinSimple commercial lending with Ford Pro’s software and services suite.
  • Build and leverage strong relationships across a complex matrix of 6+ internal organizations (including Ford Pro, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, business stakeholders and Risk) to align conflicting priorities and secure buy-in for shared goals.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team through active coaching, succession planning, and a culture of collaborative innovation focused on the unique needs of business customers.
  • Direct the end-to-end execution of massive, high-visibility projects, specifically focusing on: Consolidated Commercial Ecosystems: Being the key financial voice on unified commercial customer experiences that address needs from a small-medium customer size to large and extra-large fleet customer size that seamlessly combines vehicle financing, software subscriptions, and services into a single customer view.
  • Revamp core commercial lease and retail offerings and structures to meet modern fleet flexibility requirements and evolving business needs.
  • Lead the various product integrations to merge disparate digital entry points into cohesive and intuitive experiences for commercial clients.
  • Simultaneously oversee the "run the business" aspects of the commercial portfolio, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of existing lines of credit and fleet management tools.
  • Leverage AI and other product frameworks to gauge product success, focusing on metrics that directly contribute to P&L objectives – ensuring the portfolio balances transformational projects with steady-state enhancements needed to deliver on the business’s financial goals.
  • Resolve pain points and needs on the digital tools and portals (example Dealer Advisor) used by our dealers, ensuring they have a seamless, integrated view of sales volumes, credit applications, commercial lines of credit, reporting and customer profiles to accelerate sales velocity.
  • Unlock high-level roadblocks and align dependencies across global mission portfolios. You will act as the "glue" between Ford Credit, Ford Pro, Integrated Services and other organizations, ensuring technical and business teams are moving in lockstep.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with external commercial dealers, ensuring our product roadmap supports their sales goals and addresses their pain points.
  • At points of entry and customer experiences, proactively identify and resolve risks associated with commercial lending (including applications) and commercial lines of credit, ensuring transparent communication and alignment across global stakeholders and vendors.
