About The Position

The Vice President of Partnerships is a senior executive leader responsible for building, managing, and scaling Direct Travel’s global partner ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, revenue, technology, and market expansion, and will directly influence Direct Travel’s long-term growth, product ecosystem, and competitive position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field OR equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, business development
  • Proven success managing technical partnerships and strategic commercial alliances.
  • Experience working with Private Equity / Venture Capital firms or PE/VC portfolio companies.
  • Strong executive presence with C-suite relationship management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive partner-sourced revenue at scale.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in travel management, SaaS, enterprise services, or B2B technology.
  • Familiarity with global enterprise clients and complex sales cycles.
  • Experience negotiating large, strategic partnership agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead Direct Travel’s global partnership strategy across technical, commercial, and financial partners.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key partner relationships, including PE/VC firms, technology providers, and strategic alliances.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that drive revenue, innovation, and market differentiation.
  • Own relationships with technical partners supporting Direct Travel’s travel technology ecosystem (e.g., platforms, integrations, data providers, fintech, AI, and infrastructure partners).
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations to ensure partnerships align with platform roadmap, scalability, and service delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage strategic technical agreements, integrations, and joint product initiatives.
  • Lead commercial partnerships with GPO’s, VC’s, PE Firms, etc.
  • Develop co-selling, referral, and portfolio engagement strategies to drive enterprise client acquisition.
  • Build executive-level relationships with investment partners to expand Direct Travel’s footprint across their portfolios.
  • Own partner-sourced revenue strategy, including referral, co-sell, and alliance-driven pipeline.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to drive deal alignment, executive engagement, and win rates.
  • Forecast, measure, and optimize partner-driven revenue performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on joint campaigns, events, thought leadership, and partner messaging.
  • Position Direct Travel as the preferred travel partner within partner ecosystems.
  • Represent Direct Travel at industry events, partner summits, and executive forums.
  • Build scalable partner programs including onboarding, enablement, incentives, and performance tracking.
  • Establish KPIs, governance models, and reporting frameworks for all partnerships.
  • Ensure legal, compliance, and operational alignment across partnership agreements.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations leadership to ensure partnerships drive business outcomes.
  • Provide leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and growth recommendations.
