About The Position

EIHAB Human Services is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee all New Jersey programs and services. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leader ensures high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with developmental disabilities while maintaining full regulatory compliance and operational excellence. The VP of Operations will drive performance, lead multidisciplinary teams, and support the organization’s mission of delivering integrated, effective, and continuously improving services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field (e.g., MSW, MA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral healthcare practices and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building abilities
  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to complete required state and agency trainings (CPR/First Aid, DDD modules, etc.)
  • Must meet all background and compliance requirements, including registry clearances

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and oversight of all NJ programs and departments
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Promote a “one client–one plan” approach to coordinated care
  • Lead strategic planning, program development, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Monitor program effectiveness, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational strategy and growth
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial performance
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing leadership teams
  • Represent the organization with external partners, agencies, and stakeholders
