About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy, reporting, controls, and operational finance for our growing manufacturing organization. This role partners closely with the CFO, CEO, and executive team while serving as a key liaison to our Board, Private Equity partners, lenders, and auditors.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting (masters preferred)
12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including 3+ years at the Controller level and 5+ years managing teams.
Strong background in manufacturing finance; food or consumer products experience preferred.
Expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance.
Experience preparing reports and presentations for Board-level stakeholders.
Proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through growth, change, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
High degree of integrity with a commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (GMP/GFSI).
Self-directed, adaptable, and highly effective in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership supporting business planning and long-term growth.
Lead all financial reporting, close processes, and GAAP compliance for monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Act as primary financial liaison to the Board, PE partners, banks, and external auditors.
Manage cash flow, debt activity, covenant reporting, and working capital forecasting.
Oversee tax compliance, including sales tax filings and relationship management with external advisors.
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing accounting team; enhance controls and financial processes.
Provide operational finance leadership including cost accounting, inventory analysis, and production variance tracking.
Oversee Accounts Receivable and deduction management to drive timely collections.
Partner with Operations on financial performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
Co-lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting across manufacturing, logistics, and SG&A.
Drive system modernization, automation, and ERP enhancements to improve accuracy and scalability.
Support financial modeling and cost analysis for new customers, pricing proposals, and strategic investments.
