About The Position

Copperweld Bimetallics UK Limited, a leading provider of engineered electrical conductors, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President – EMEA to lead and accelerate its commercial growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This executive role requires a proven leader with a strategic mindset, deep market insight, and the ability to cultivate business growth through cross-functional collaboration. Reporting directly to the CEO of the US-based parent company, the VP – EMEA will be responsible for driving regional sales performance, expanding market presence in Europe, and aligning with application engineering and R&D to deliver innovative, customer-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring proven P&L management experience, a strong commercial track record, and a willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region and to the United States as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role within EMEA, ideally with experience in industrial or engineered products.
  • Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities for a regional or business unit.
  • Demonstrated success in growing market share in Europe and building high-performing sales organizations.
  • Strong collaboration skills with technical teams (engineering, R&D, operations).
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to operate in a global organization and influence across regions and functions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across EMEA and internationally as needed.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy focused on aggressively growing the European market while expanding presence across the broader EMEA territory.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels to scale revenue.
  • Drive commercial initiatives that position Copperweld products as preferred solutions across key European industries.
  • Serve as the primary commercial leader for strategic customer engagements, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with application engineers and R&D teams to align customer needs with product innovation and customization.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape product development and enhance technical competitiveness.
  • Ensure technical support is integrated into the sales process to deliver high-value solutions and differentiated offerings.
  • Lead and develop the EMEA sales team, establishing clear objectives, accountability, and performance benchmarks.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and pipeline development through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Track sales performance metrics and ensure consistent reporting to global leadership.
  • Own the regional P&L and be accountable for achieving revenue and margin targets.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive profitability through effective pricing, cost management, and commercial discipline.
  • Collaborate with global executive colleagues to align regional sales strategy with corporate goals.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Optimize pricing, margin, and profitability across the region in coordination with finance and operations.
  • Represent the company at major trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.
  • Lead high-level commercial negotiations to secure long-term, high-value contracts.
  • Act as the regional voice within the global leadership team, advocating for EMEA priorities and resources.
