The Vice President, Network Strategy serves as the executive leader responsible for shaping and delivering Blue Shield of California’s provider network and partnership strategy across all lines of business. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Provider Partnerships & Network Management, this role operates at an enterprise level, partnering closely with senior leaders across Product, Finance, Operations, Quality, and Clinical teams to align network design, provider partnerships, payment innovation, and business outcomes. This role leads a high‑performing team of strategists and provider‑facing leaders accountable for network strategy, provider partnerships, and performance across the network. Responsibilities include network design and optimization, payment and incentive strategy, value‑based care models, and provider engagement, in close collaboration with Product, Contracting, and Network Operations. The Vice President is accountable for identifying and partnering with high‑performing providers and building long‑term, value‑driven partnerships focused on quality, affordability, and total cost of care. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, strategic agility in a matrixed environment, and the ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver results at scale. This role requires a collaborative leader with a proven ability to build, develop, and lead high‑performing teams to execute strategy effectively.
