About The Position

The VP of Sales is a salary plus commission position that oversees daily sales activity, meets with major clients, draws up sales reports, designs new and more effective sales strategies, and works to market and promote AITX’s products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in rail and tank car sales and/or operations
  • Demonstrated successful sales record
  • Ability to travel 75% or more
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Meets with existing clients to discuss AITX’s products and services.
  • Works to foster lasting relationships with our customers.
  • Locates opportunities to expand client base.
  • Networks with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to AITX
  • Sets specific quarterly or annual sales goals.
  • Draws up sales activity reports.
  • Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met.
  • Presents information regarding clients and sales at company meetings.
  • Devises new and innovative ways to market products and services.
  • Attend national sales and industry conferences.
  • Assists in designing marketing and promotional materials both in print and online.
  • Conducts independent research into target consumer base.
  • Work closely with our customer service and operations teams.
