Join our high-impact Implementation team as VP, where you will drive the strategic execution and delivery of onboarding initiatives for hedge funds and asset managers. As a senior leader, you’ll interface with top-tier clients and external partners to innovate and optimize operational and technical onboarding processes—including deep expertise in Portfolio Management System (PMS) implementation. Your leadership will help set visionary standards for service excellence, shaping the future of trade execution and portfolio management integration across the organization. This hybrid role offers the ideal balance of collaborative partnership and autonomy—enabling you to build relationships, drive results, and advance FactSet’s reputation as a best-in-class solutions provider. You will be responsible for maximizing client value through seamless deployment of FactSet’s PMS and related solutions. With financial responsibility for an independent regional budget and direct oversight of projects impacting significant ASV, your strategic vision and PMS onboarding experience will directly advance FactSet’s business objectives and drive client success in the investment management sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 13-15+ years of progressive experience in financial services or fintech, including substantial management responsibility and a proven track record in PMS onboarding or portfolio management technology implementation.
  • Deep expertise in PMS integration, workflow configuration, and client-driven process enhancements within asset management and hedge fund environments.
  • Advanced understanding of industry trends in investment technology, trading workflows, and data integration.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of business operations, technical product portfolios, and cross-functional organizational strategy.
  • Proven ability to develop talent and instill best practices in PMS onboarding.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and resource management acumen.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing competing priorities and strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Leadership Serve as executive sponsor for major PMS implementation projects—guiding project lifecycle from discovery through deployment, with deep involvement in requirements gathering, kick-off, and milestone reviews.
  • Oversee complex onboarding initiatives for client asset management teams, ensuring meticulous configuration, integration, and process alignment aligned with clients’ investment workflows and objectives.
  • Team Development and Talent Management Mentor, recruit, and develop implementation professionals with PMS expertise; cultivate a high-performing team with advanced technical and client-facing skills.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation in PMS onboarding practices.
  • Resource and Financial Management Drive revenue generation and cost optimization through strategic allocation of resources with a focus on PMS and related software delivery.
  • Manage the regional budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with organizational targets.
  • Senior Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level clients and external partners, addressing complex needs, resolving challenges, and ensuring FactSet’s PMS solutions deliver tangible results.
  • Proactively anticipate client requirements for PMS integration and tailor delivery strategies to maximize efficiency, data integrity, and business impact.
  • Market & Industry Leadership Stay abreast of industry advances in PMS, portfolio analytics, and investment technology, applying insights to optimize client engagement and solution implementation.
  • Represent FactSet’s PMS offering within industry forums and client workshops; share best practices and innovative ideas in PMS onboarding.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork & Strategy Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other leaders to continuously enhance PMS solutions based on client feedback and industry trends.
  • Align regional implementation strategy for PMS offerings with FactSet’s broader business goals.
