About The Position

As the Vice President of Go-To-Market (GTM) Systems, you will be the transformative business technology executive responsible for architecting the commerce technology engine that powers Klaviyo’s global revenue growth. Reporting to the CIO, you will act as a peer and strategic partner to the GTM C-suite, moving beyond support to actively shape strategy and execution through technology. This is a highly visible and impactful role, where you will own the long-range vision and delivery of a world-class, integrated platform that provides a durable competitive advantage and directly influences Klaviyo’s top-line success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in IT applications, or a related field, with a deep and primary focus on GTM functions.
  • 8+ years of senior leadership experience in a dynamic, global environment, including a proven track record of managing senior teams and building high-performing, multi-tiered organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience operating at an executive level as a strategic business partner to C-level GTM leaders (CRO, CMO) within a B2B SaaS company that has scaled significantly (e.g., through the $500M to $2B+ ARR journey).
  • Authoritative knowledge of the GTM technology ecosystem, including deep architectural expertise with the Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Revenue Cloud), marketing automation, and the broader sales/success tech stack at enterprise scale.
  • Strong curiosity to learn and adopt new technologies and an AI champion, willing to adopt and drive change across the organization.
  • A proven history of linking technology strategy directly to commercial outcomes and articulating the business impact of your initiatives to C-level executives and the Board.
  • You use AI tools to accelerate exploration, shorten iteration cycles, and bring sharper ideas to the table.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multiple GTM motions, including enterprise sales, product-led growth (PLG), consumption-based models, and channel/partner ecosystems.
  • Experience leading through significant organizational transformation, including international expansion and M&A integration.
  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the Commerce Engine: Develop, champion, and execute the multi-year vision for the entire GTM technology ecosystem, ensuring the architecture can scale to support ambitious revenue targets across new products, segments, and geographies.
  • Act as a C-Suite Partner: Serve as a core member of the CIO's leadership team and as the definitive technology thought partner to the Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and other GTM executives, translating their strategic plans into a cohesive and actionable technology roadmap.
  • Lead, scale, and mentor a large, multi-layered organization of business applications professionals. Foster a culture of high performance, deep business acumen, and accountability for delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Architect and deliver transformational initiatives that yield significant improvements in core GTM metrics, including sales velocity, pipeline conversion, marketing ROI, net revenue retention (NRR), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Orchestrate the Lead-to-Cash Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end process and systems architecture for the entire lead-to-cash value chain. Ensure a frictionless, automated, and intelligent flow across Salesforce, marketing automation, quoting, billing, and customer success platforms.
  • Govern Strategic Investments: Own the entire GTM technology portfolio, including budget planning, resource allocation, and building compelling business cases that secure executive alignment and prioritize the highest-value initiatives.
  • Master Executive & Vendor Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships at the executive level, both internally with GTM leadership and externally with our most strategic technology partners (e.g., Salesforce), influencing their roadmaps to Klaviyo’s advantage.
  • Enable GTM M&A Integration: Develop and lead the playbook for rapidly and effectively integrating the GTM technology stacks of acquired companies to accelerate time-to-value.
  • Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
