The Global Partnerships team is crucial for expanding GBG’s global footprint by identifying, developing, and managing high-value commercial partnerships with organizations such as IBM, Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Mastercard, and Microsoft. The VP, Global Partnerships role combines strategic relationship building with hands-on sales execution to embed GBG’s Identity Fraud & Location Intelligence solutions within partner ecosystems worldwide. This role involves working closely with technology partners, system integrators, resellers, and marketplaces to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen GBG’s position as a global leader in digital identity services. GBG operates in over 70 countries, helping partners deliver Identity Verification, Bio-Metric Checks, and Global Address Verification to an international customer base. This includes collaborating with technology partners and resellers to integrate and enhance GBG solutions, expanding distribution, embedding solutions into partner platforms, and reaching new markets through joint technology offerings. Additionally, GBG partners with trusted data providers globally to supply identity data, address verification, and fraud-prevention datasets, enabling fast, accurate identity decisions through API integrations and supporting compliance with global standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or partnership development—ideally within SaaS, identity verification, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or related technology sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Comfortable working in a global, fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex global agreements.

  • Experience working with global technology partners, system integrators, or reseller networks.
  • Understanding of digital identity, KYC/AML, fraud prevention, or data intelligence markets.
  • Familiarity with API‑driven SaaS products and technical integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new global partners aligned with GBG’s strategic growth priorities.
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with partner executives, commercial teams, and product stakeholders.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, commercial terms, and joint go‑to‑market plans.
  • Drive partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced revenue across GBG’s product portfolio.
  • Manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent progression through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to support joint customer engagements and close deals.
  • Develop and execute joint value propositions, sales motions, and market activation plans with partners.
  • Deliver partner training, enablement sessions, and product demonstrations to ensure partners can effectively position GBG solutions.
  • Support co‑marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns to increase brand visibility and partner engagement.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Legal & Customer Success teams to ensure seamless partner integration and ongoing success.
  • Provide market and partner insights to inform product development and strategic planning.
  • Act as the internal advocate for partners, ensuring their needs and opportunities are represented.
  • Track partnership performance against KPIs, revenue targets, and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights for senior leadership on partnership health, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Continuously refine partnership strategies based on data, feedback, and market trends.
