About The Position

The VP Finance – FP&A is a senior finance leader responsible for enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic decisions support. This position partners closely with the executive leadership, clinical operations and private equity stakeholders to support value creation, scalability, and exit readiness. This role is designed for a high-potential finance leader who combines technical excellence with increasing exposure to PE-level decision-making, performance management, and transaction readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA/MBA required or strongly preferred)
• 10-15+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
• Healthcare experience required with a strong understanding of revenue cycle management, CPT codes, provider compensation and regulatory dynamics
• Experience in private equity–backed, leveraged, or highly performance-driven environments
• Deep experience in performing, supporting and/or understanding GAAP accounting, month-end close, annual audit and internal controls
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
• Prior experience working directly with PE sponsors or lenders
• M&A diligence, post-acquisition integration, or exit preparation experience
• ERP implementation or finance transformation experience
• Demonstrated understanding and application of AI to enhance process, reporting and analytics
• Exposure to cash-intensive or working-capital-driven businesses
• Ability to think beyond analytics into strategy, capital, and risk
• Strong business judgment and commercial orientation
• Executive presence and confidence with senior leadership and investors
• High ownership mentality with a bias toward action
• Comfort operating under pressure, ambiguity, and tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO, CEO, executive leadership team and PE sponsor
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning
• Develop volume- and acuity-based financial models, including payer, procedure and provider mix reimbursement impacts
• Oversee enterprise financial reporting, dashboards, and KPI development
• Provide financial analysis for service line performance, labor management, provider compensation, supply utilization, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
• Partner closely with clinical, operational, accounting and revenue cycle leaders
• Prepare and present financial insights to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
• Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team and establish best-practice analytics processes
