About The Position

What You'll Do: Lead an internal credit desk for Bernstein’s client service business. Serve as the first point of contact for our internal sales and client service teams and function as the liaison between them and our internal and external credit partners Act as the centralized national expert on our credit partnerships, serving as a resource to Financial Advisors and sales leaders across the business Collaborate with internal and external teams to build consolidated credit proposals for clients Present proposals to Clients and Advisors, speaking through loan terms to ensure thorough understanding of options Maintain a database of inbound credit requests and outcomes from clients and prospective clients, as well as tracking of all existing loans Landscape the credit space for new potential partners and build a process for on-boarding additional credit partners. Negotiate partnership agreements and revenue share arrangements. Build and deliver training to educate the sales and support teams about our credit partnerships and develop continuing education training resources as appropriate Monitor and escalate complaints or issues What We're Looking For: 7-10 years of experience in the credit or lending industry in a client facing role with direct credit experience. Private wealth management and financial market knowledge a plus Familiarity and fluency in a range of commercial and personal credit options including (but not limited to) securities-based lending, mortgages, business lending, margin Intellectually curious about the capital markets, and finding creative ways to connect with our clients & prospects globally An understanding of the lending and credit landscape: understanding client needs, market trends and the competitive landscape, including partner offerings Ability to work effectively under pressure while multitasking, adhering to tight deadlines and maintaining strategic relationships with internal partners A team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including collaboration, negotiation and influence Highly detail-oriented and organized Who We Are: Bernstein Private Wealth Management advises high-net-worth clients on planning for—and living with—the complexities that come with wealth. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, benefits, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, and other incentives. Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in the credit or lending industry in a client facing role with direct credit experience.
