About The Position

The Vice President, Corporate RIA Channel Strategy reports to the Senior Vice President of 1099 Business Lines and will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategy across the firm's dually registered and corporate RIA affiliation models for our independent advisors. This role involves contributing to strategic planning, project management, enhancing the advisor experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, with knowledge of wealth management or advisory platforms
  • Familiarity with various advisory business models (e.g., independent, hybrid, institutional)
  • Experience in corporate strategy, product management, or strategic program management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to summarize complex information
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Advanced degree in business strategy or related field
  • Experience with Salesforce and other business intelligence tools

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and evaluating strategic initiatives for our independent advisor affiliation models.
  • Help define and evolve the value proposition on our corporate RIA for advisors and independent wealth management firms, considering their unique needs and market trends.
  • Leverage market data to assist with competitive assessments, identify market opportunities, and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct market analysis to monitor industry trends, developments, and competitive moves to inform strategy.
  • Data analytics, drawing upon large, disparate data-sets that when combined, release actionable business insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business Development, Compliance, Legal and Client Success to support the execution of tactical plans that enhance the advisory experience.
  • Support the integration of technology and business solutions that improve advisor efficiency and service capabilities.
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and departments to ensure alignment and progress on strategic projects.
  • Synthesize advisor feedback and business intelligence into insights and data-driven recommendations to improve the advisor experience.
  • Create briefing materials for key internal and external meetings, summarizing analysis for senior leadership.
  • Support efforts to increase advisor satisfaction and retention by identifying and addressing key pain points.
  • Provide strategic expertise and operational support to expand our efforts to further develop our multi-custody capabilities.
  • Project Management and execution of key strategic initiatives that span multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Assist in communicating initiative details proactively to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Help manage multiple project requests of various sizes and scopes, ensuring tasks are prioritized and delivered in a timely manner.
