About The Position

VP Aircraft Origination & Marketing – Americas Our client is a global aviation solutions provider specializing in aircraft and engine leasing, asset management, and technical services, with a specific focus on mid-to end-of-life assets. We are seeking a senior professional to lead aircraft and engine acquisition and remarketing efforts across the Americas region. Location: Florida, Texas, or New York Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer The Opportunity: This is a critical role within the global marketing and origination strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, technical, and executive leadership, to drive revenue through the strategic acquisition, leasing, and remarketing of aviation assets.

Requirements

  • Industry Tenure: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in aircraft and/or engine finance and leasing.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in sales and marketing through different economic cycles with a prominent lessor, financier, or airline trading group.
  • Technical Expertise: Clear understanding of the contractual and technical aspects of aircraft marketing and in-depth knowledge of aircraft economics.
  • Network: Strong existing relationships with airlines and manufacturers, ideally within the Americas region.
  • Professional Skills: First-class business development, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Mindset: Highly motivated, ambitious, and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Degree educated.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Focus on originating new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships across the Americas.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain solid relationships with airline senior leadership, fleet, and treasury teams.
  • Asset Placement: Identify and execute placement opportunities for aircraft and engines coming off lease.
  • Deal Execution: Lead internal Deal Team reviews and act as the initial facilitator between the airline’s technical/legal teams and internal counterparts.
  • Transaction Management: Draft and negotiate Term Sheets and LOIs, supporting lease negotiations through to conclusion.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify third-party fleet management, remarketing, and technical services opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Anticipate airline fleet planning needs and stay abreast of industry trends to identify non-core business opportunities.
