About The Position

The Volunteer Services Assistant PRN helps manage donations and holiday-related needs, including visits and internal requirements. Requirements

• High School Degree
• 1 year retail or similar experience
• Excellent customer service skills/dealing with visitors and donors
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well with others

Responsibilities

• Accept donations as donors pull into the circle in front of Koppel Plaza
• Accept donations brought into Volunteer Services office
• Sort and organize donations
• Distribute items as needed to hospital departments
• Collaborate with hospital staff and volunteers to keep a smooth flow of activity
• Assist with answering calls and some correspondence
• Assist with hospital visits during the holidays
• Assist with Tiny Trees Program
• Cover gaps in vital areas (e.g., Information desk, surgery lounge) when volunteers are absent due to holiday commitments
